The Village Café is Now Open for Dinner

Village Café, located at 223 Highway 314 SW, has changed its hours so it is open for dinner. Anthony Ferraro and Henry Sanchez opened the Village Café two years ago. The restaurant has focused on breakfast and lunch with an extensive menu for those meals since then. New Village Café hours are Monday through Friday 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., Saturday and Sunday 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Village Café burgers include the jumbo and regular “Village” tortilla, the “Village” green chile cheeseburger, the “Daniel Fernandez” burger, plus more burger choices. Burger add-ons include bacon, onion rings, green chile, bleu cheese, deep-fried jalapenos, and cheese. In addition to the bacon-wrapped jalapeno poppers, other appetizers are chips and salsa, mozzarella sticks, taquitos, chile cheese fries, and fried mushrooms. New Mexico meals include tacos, a variety of combination plates, enchiladas, burritos, tostados, menudo, and posole. Sandwiches range from grilled cheese to fried bologna to a loaded BLT to grilled chicken. Kids have a special menu, and there are a wide variety of drinks available.
