Tuesday, October 11, at the Facebook Data Center construction site in the Huning Business Park — the future home of their newest US Data Center in the Village of Los Lunas — a groundbreaking ceremony was held. Village staff, along with Governor Susanna Martinez, Mayor Charles Griego and Council members Paulette Sanchez-Montoya, Gino Romero and Christopher Ortiz celebrated a great day for Economic Development in New Mexico.
This ceremonial groundbreaking was more than just turning the sod, but an opportunity for us to celebrate the opportunities we have to invest in this project, the local community and the hard work of our Village officials and staff.
