The Range Cafe, Local Favorite Restaurant, Moves South!

The Range Cafe is very proud to announce that our newest location will soon be in Los Lunas, New Mexico. On Thursday, August 9th, 2018 documents were signed to purchase the former Henrietta’s location at 740 Main Street NE in Los Lunas.

Over the next 6-8 months, the building will undergo a complete remodel. Current plans are to add a covered patio on the east side of the building. This will increase the seating to approximately 150 guests. The kitchen, dining rooms, bathrooms, and entryways will all be updated. This location will also be acquiring a New Mexico dispenser’s liquor license and will feature a full bar.

The total cost of the project will be around $2,000,000 and will employ around 50-60 people. The target opening date will be in the first few months of 2019. Like the other locations, the Range Cafe will be open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner seven days a week starting at 7 am.

The Range Cafe debuted in Bernalillo, NM in a small, funky 56 seat former adobe gas station in 1992. It was instantly popular and over the last 25 years, the Range Cafe has expanded to six locations. The Los Lunas location will be the seventh location of this local franchise, which includes locations in Bernalillo, Albuquerque and Las Vegas, NM. In addition, the parent company also operates Freight House Kitchen + Tap in Bernalillo and Standard Diner located on Central Ave. in East Downtown, Albuquerque.

“We have had our eyes on Los Lunas for many years. I received a call from Kyla Rhodes at CBRE realty. I told her that we weren’t ready yet as we had just opened our location in Las Vegas, NM however once I saw the building I knew it was the location we had been looking for in Los Lunas. Over the years we have had so many requests from residents that we just couldn’t pass this opportunity up!” Matt DiGregory, CEO Home on The Range, Inc.
