Thank you to the citizens of Valencia County and the dignitaries that participated in the School of Dreams groundbreaking ceremony. At 6pm on Wednesday, May 18, there was a great ground breaking ceremony for the School of Dreams Academy Charter School, which is relocating in El Molino development site just south just of the Los Lunas Transportation Center.
This is a public/private partnership with the Village of Los Lunas and the developer, Lohman Development, in an effort to bring a mixed-use infill development to the central core of the Village along Highway 314. Michael Ogas, the principal of SODA, was the key figure who was instrumental in making this day a reality. Ogas,the developer, and the Village’s dream is to create a pedestrian activity center in the area.
