It was recently announced that Cervantes Food Products Inc. has decided to move its chile sauce and salsa business next year from a 2,000-square-foot manufacturing space in Albuquerque to a custom-built, 6,000-plus square foot facility in Los Lunas!
The owners Arian and Richard Gonzales bought property in Los Lunas with a $280,000 loan from a microlender. They are now working with Accion and Nusenda Credit Union to obtain $750,000 to build the facility.
The owners of the Los Morros Business Park, Rio Real Estate Investment Opportunities, LLC stated the reasons they expanded to Los Lunas was 1) Easier for Transportation Logistics both Trucking and Rail and 2) Closer to our New Mexico growers where we buy only 100% New Mexico grown Red and Green Chili.
